Vienna's Great Exiles

schoenbrunn-100Overtures by Beethoven and Rossini, the iconic Fifth symphony of Beethoven, and the Brahms second Piano Concerto are on offer from the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dmitri Sitkovetsky, with guest soloist Vladimir Feltsman. Beethoven, Brahms and Chopin all spent time composing in the city of Vienna, away from their homelands. The GSO plays in Dana Auditorium as part of their 51st season.
