A London Reunion in the Carolinas

balsom-100Before her career as a trumpet soloist took off, Alison Balsom played in Christopher Warren-Green's London Chamber Orchestra. They're reunited in Charlotte, with a Hummel concerto, and a Piazzolla encore. The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra gives a spirited performance of Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, and a pair of beloved overtures. And Van Cliburn competition gold-medalist Nobiyuki Tsuji is in recital in Charlotte.

Due to our broadcast agreement with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, their performances on this program will not be available on-demand.
